| Conference OverviewFormat Striving to promote and improve global access to health, the Geneva Health Forum is rooted in the assumption that the power of change comes from our capacity to integrate a wide range of information and experiences -- sharing, utilizing, and applying them concretely and appropriately. The format of the 2010 Geneva Health Forum is aimed at enhancing the participants' conference experience by creating an environment conducive to building coalitions across regional, political, sectoral, and cultural boundaries. The following types of sessions form the basis of the conference format: Plenary and Parallel SessionsPlenary sessions bring all conference participants together under the main conference themes. These sessions range from presentations and questions by the audience to panel debates. Parallel sessions, more specific in thematic focus, can range from debates and panel discussions, to standard presentations with questions from the audience, to workshops. The 2010 Geneva Health Forum aims to give more attention to practical skill-building workshops than in previous editions. Interactive Sessions with Online HubsA new feature of the Geneva Health Forum consists of a system of hubs. Hubs are satellite locations which can be located anywhere in the world and initiated by any interested party with internet access and sufficient space for welcoming several to many participants. The parallel session schedule contains two 'interactive hub sessions' per day -- one in the morning and one in the afternoon programme. The sessions will be broadcast online to registered hubs -- with one location as the 'main hub', at which part of the speakers' panel is located. Click here to register as a hub. Poster Presentations and Free CommunicationsPresentations will take place for all abstracts selected as posters. These presentations will be held during coffee breaks in the Marketplace area. Free communication sessions include brief presentations on several projects concerning specific topics and are followed by questions or debates. These two types of presentations are based on open abstract submissions. For the 2010 edition of the Geneva Health Forum, the free communication sessions will be held in the same time slots as parallel sessions and workshops.
