It seems like there are hundreds (if not thousands) of sports and health supplements out there, with some having more scientifically backed results behind them than others. Alongside providing benefits for strength and workout recovery, it’s also started to show links to improved memory and cognitive function. The studies are still few and far between on this aspect, but the early results are fairly promising.

If you’re not supplementing with creatine then it certainly looks like it could be worth adding to your diet. There are a few people who should probably look to avoid it, such as pregnant women of those with a history of issues with their liver.
